Marc Johnson is director of digital strategy for the StudioOnline division of APCO Worldwide. Based in New York, Mr. Johnson helps clients accomplish their strategic objectives through digital tactics and methods. He has extensive experience in managing highly technical projects and helping clients build custom online applications to achieve specific goals and objectives.

He also manages business development for the StudioOnline practice and created winning strategies driving specific business goals for numerous consumer brands. Additionally, Mr. Johnson has helped consumer clients with brand positioning and crisis management, which forged brand equity growth at an accelerated rate. On Mr. Johnson has worked with foreign governments creating social media training programs for 400 government officials on using social media to engage public constituents.


Patrick Gillooly 

Director of Digital Communication and Social Media 


Patrick Gillooly is the Director of Digital Communication and Social Media at Monster, where he leads global social media strategy and a team of community managers and content specialists who focus on engaging audiences through social and digital channels.

Prior to working at Monster, Gillooly lead the web- and content-strategy efforts for the external communications team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A graduate of Boston University, he spent the first few years of his career working as the news editor for a daily newspaper in central Massachusetts.

In 2007, Robin Carey founded Social Media Today, LLC, one of the first companies to manage online B2B communities that connect large organizations with people they want to influence. A veteran of the big-book print media world that included Fortune, Newsweek and BusinessWeek, she had built her reputation on architecting powerful strategies that delivered to blue-chip corporate clients and their agencies ways to corral and connect with their customers, and equally importantly, their customers’ trusted influencers. As traditional media went digital, and the internet went social, Robin was one of the first to realize that the emerging social media platforms offered huge promise to corporations seeking to interact directly with, and learn from, their customers, their employees, and experts from the Ivy Towers, the Street and the Hill.

Charles began his career during the 2000 Tech Bubble Recession and Post-9/11 Downturn Market in non-profit administrative roles, but rapidly transitioned into Financial Services to lead marketing at TIAA-CREF, MassMutual, Thomson Reuters and Ernst & Young LLP.

Prior to joining the NYAMA, Charles served 6-years as Vice President of the International Association of Business Communicators (NY-chapter).

Since January 2014, Charles has led national marketing and client relations at Broadway Tax Professionals, a leading tax and accounting practice in Manhattan where he services over 8,000 returning and new clients per year.
